The red worm was used by the ancient Armenians as a symbol of UNITY. This color has dominated the various flags of all the provinces of historical Armenia, the houses of power. During the reign of Tigran II, the vassal kings who accepted Armenian allegiance painted the top of their flags red with wormwood, thus confirming their loyalty to the Armenian king.

The elegance and sophistication of Armenian ornaments, the delicacy and variety have always fascinated the supporters of Armenian art.
